B) WHAT WE WILL DO FOR YOU?
Ø Pulmonary rehabilitation involves respiratory muscle retraining, upper body muscle strengthening, and thoracic mobilization and manual techniques, and advanced postural technique.
Ø Medical evaluation and Baseline assessment with a six-minute walk test. The patient walks as far as possible during a period of six minutes; the total distance walked (in meters), oxygen saturation during the walk, and dyspnea are monitored.
Ø Customised exercise plan comprising of endurance training, strength training, breathing retraining and ventilatory muscle training.
Ø Health behavior promotion including smoking cessation, nutrition, weight counseling, and proper use of medication & oxygen.
Ø Psychological support for anxiety and depression.
Ø Postural drainage training.
